The celebriy posh couple, Victoria and David Beckham have been invited to the Royal Wedding. Victoria Beckham who is one of Kate Middleton’s favourite designer and is rumoured to be designing her honeymoon outfits, looked gorgeously polished as she wore a navy blue dress, from her own designer collection as she entered West Minister Abbey.
Her hair was pulled back into a long, sleek straight ponytail. The hat is always one thing which is talked about at a wedding and Victoria did this with such style and sophistication as she wore a gorgeous Philip Treacy hat.
To finish off her look she wore some super high Louboutins. Her make up was dramatic on the eyes to co-ordinate with her outfit, however her lips remained nude, which extenuated her famous posh pout.
Encore, an handsome Beck-guy on her right, great haircut and pop-smile for a classic tight. I do love the good-boy face by the Will-Prince, but since today is a great day for the Royal Family and the whole of UK, I do want to send a prayer to Queen Elizabeth II, the one we love the most: Her Majesty you made Duch and Duchess of Will and Kate... a chance to have the Posh couple as Counts of Wembley Stadium?

The Burmese ruby tiara was ordered to be made by the Queen in 1973. The design of the jewel is in the form of a wreath of roses. It is co
nventional yet detailed.
There are clusters of rubies in the centre of each flower, and the petals are made using brilliant diamonds. The 96 rubies set into the tiara were a present from the Burmese people.
The number of stones represent the number of diseases that the Burmese people believe can afflict the human body. They credit the ruby with prophylactic properties guarding the wearer not only against illness, but also against evil.

n from an old tiara.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother asked for the height of the tiara to be increased by adding a number of brilliant cut diamonds and a single marquise cut diamond in 1953
King George III Fringe Tiara
The diamond fringe tiara – a gradual cirle of verticle rown of diamonds was made in 1830 as a necklace from brilliant cut stones that belonged to King George III. Queen Victoria wore it as a tiara on an official visit to the opera in 1839.
It was inherited by Queen Mary when she became Queen Consort in 1910, and she in turn gave it to her daughter in law, the new Queen in 1937. Queen Elizabeth
The Queen mother loaned it to her daughter Princess Elizabeth as “something borrowed” for her wedding in 1947. She loaned it again to her granddaughter in 1973 for her marriage to Captain Mark Phillips.
One of the most charming tributes that Queen Mary ever paid to the maternal side of her family was the tiara which she had made in 1914 to her own design and from pearls and diamonds that were already in her possession.
It was a copy of one which was owned by her grandmother, Princess Augusta of Hesse, who married the first Duke of Cam
bridge, seventh son of King George III in 1818.
She had been given it by her family prior to her marriage. There was a strong French influence in the design of the 19 openwork arches, each enclosing an oriental pearl from a diamond lover’s know bow and surmounted by single diamonds and upright pearl spikes.
The Spencer Tiara
The Spencer Tiara is mounted in gold in the form of stylised flowers decorated in diamonds in silver settings. The tiara is en
tirely composite and not an heirloom as has been previously suggested.
The central element was a gift from Lady Sarah Spencer to Cynthia, Viscountess Althorpe as a wedding present in 1919.
It was later remounted. Four other elements were made to match it in 1937. Only the two elements at the end are old and are said to have come from a tiara owned by Francis, Viscountess Montagu and left to Lady Sarah Spencer in 1875.
It was worn by Lady Diana Spencer when she married the Prince of Wales in 1981 and was subsequently used by Victoria Lockwood when she married the 9th Earl in 1989 (The Earl Spencer)
The Girls of Gt. Britain and Ireland Tiara
In 1893 a committee was formed by Lady Eve Greville to raise money for the “Girls of Great Britain and Ireland” to pu
rchase a wedding gift for Princess May of Teck, the future Queen Mary.
They collected more than £5000, and after buying the diamond tiara, the surplus money was given, at the request of Princess May, to a fund that had been set up to aid the widows and orphans of the men lost after the sinking of HMS Victoria.
In her thank you letter which was dated 4th July, 1893 the Princess wrote:
“I need scarcely assure you that the tiara will ever be one of my most valued wedding gifts, as a precious proof of your goodwill and affection”
Queen Mary’s Honeysuckle Diamond Tiara
Queen Mary’s diamond tiara is decorated with a graduated frieze of styled
honeysuckle.
The central ornament is made to be detachable. It was made before or during Febuary 1914. HRH Princess Alice – Duchess of Gloucester was given the tiara by Queen Mary.
The Holy Diamond Tiara

Stones cut and special placement are studied with a view to create an authentic and natural halo over the crowned head. Mid-sized rims seem to be drawing attention more than the others. Rims in red, white and yellow, some embossed with crystals, some with pointy edges, some with butterfly or cupid motif on the arms, are instant h.
"The entire experimentation is focused on the girls' range of glares. Those standard black glasses with both small and over size rims have already bid a goodbye. Women collection is more about colour and embellishments," says Simran, marketing head of Fastrack, which has launched its latest collection of shades.
For women, material of the shades is not that important...shape and colours matter more," says Raunak Seth, Director of Eternity Lifestyles which has been into the retailing of eyewear from past 30 years.
Rose pink is a hot favourite pick amongst the college going young women. Moreover the material has also undergone a transformation for both men and women," adds Seth who has launched a retro look of shades for this season.
Curved and rounded shaped glares in acetate are the bestsellers. But for men, metal aviators still rule the roost," opines Seth.
"For men, fashion is slowly shifting from aviators to wayfarers. Adding colours in a small space like black with yellow, black with red, black with white is in," adds Seth.
Who else can show off better than our very own style icon, Bollywood Saif Ali Khan whose glares are often custom made. His pair of shades with a thin red rim are to die for.
Besides this, Wayfarers are back in style with MTV jockey Raghuram flaunting them in the current season of reality show 'Roadies'.
"Wayfarers which were the trend setters for 1950s are back to be the style this summer season. Aviators, though are still the hot favourite among men," adds Simran.
Salil Chaturvedi of Provogue eyewear says, "It's exciting to see people experimenting with sunglasses. No one's playing safe by going the regular cliched way. Sunglasses are a reflection of one's attitude and so the shape, size and colour are completely out-of-the-box, yet very wearable."
Nobody wears it better than our own Bollywood. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, Kangna Ranaut are the torch bearers when it comes to showcase the latest fashion.
Giving a thumb-ups to Aishwarya's white rimmed shades of Action Replay,Simran says "White rims are really in. In fact, coloured rims like red and amber are fast catching up.
When it comes to a collection getting magazine play, both Prada and Dolce & Gabbana‘s S/S looks are receiving rave reviews from magazine editors. Actually, they’re more than just rave, Prada has already landed 48 international covers so far with D&G closely trailing with 42. What’s interesting is that these collections are very different, yet each is getting tons of viral hype.
Prada single handedly brought back stripes and put fruit in the forefront of spring fashions. Thanks to them everyone is literally bananas for bananas. And the striped hats? Yes, please; those are perfect for the sunny California beaches (or any beach/pool for that matter).
Meanwhile, D&G has channeled summer simplicity with their wedding meets summer attire. Featuring delicate ivory and white hues, the line is whimsical and sexy all at the same time.

With her St. John days behind her, Angelina Jolie could have another endorsement deal in the works: being the new face of Louis Vuitton. Eonline.com reports that the star has signed on with the venerable French luxury house as their newest star face. Jolie would follow in the fashionable footsteps of stars like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson (plus luminaries including Bono, Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell, Sally Ride and Mikhail Gorbachev), representing the company’s gorgeous bags, clothing and accessories. Jolie has been dipping her toes a bit deeper into the fashion world lately, launching a charitable, high-end jewelry line, Style of Jolie, with Robert Procop. Jolie’s reps could not be reached for immediate comment, and reps for Louis Vuitton had no comment.

Apparently Mickey Rourke can be a badass - even to the ladies! We thought he just had a potty mouth with the guys, but apparently he recently trashed the film that he and Megan Fox starred in, Passion Play, and apparently smirked when talking about Megan.
He recently apologised to the 24 year old, who can be seen here with her sister on an outing to Marmalade Cafe at the Grove in LA on Tuesday, by saying;
“When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a sh-tty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter,” he told NY Mag.
“[Passion Play director] Mitch [Glazer] is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow. I don’t know why I said that stupid sh-t. I love Mitch, I loveMegan. My bad,” Mickey added.

Just when you thought the reality TV landscape could not get any worse – Paris Hilton is out to
prove you wrong. Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF is the blonde heiress’s latest bright idea.As the title suggests, Hilton looks for a new best friend in the United Arab Emirates. Yes, really. If you thought your scouting for strangers on Facebook was shameful wait till you see this.
Having successfully worked the title in the US and the UK, Hilton saw Dubai as the next best place.
The season starts off with 20 women battling it out to try to impress the spoilt American brat. Though the ultimate prize is becoming Hilton’s new best friend, no one knows what that really means.
Does it mean moving to the US to join in her wild ways? Or maybe free stays in the executive suites of all the Hilton hotels the world over? Whatever it is, what young woman in her right mind would put herself up for the humiliation of standing in line to be selected by Hilton in the way slaves used to be sold?
Had the ultimate prize been money, a scholarship or even a fully paid stay at a posh resort it would have made sense, but this is not the case here.
Perhaps this show is meant to be interesting because it is shot in the Middle East where the rules, especially against women, are somewhat repressive. Since Hilton is used to having things her way, it should be worth looking at how she settles in.
For instance, she won’t be allowed near alcohol. This is the UAE, people. You can’t even kiss in public and not get into trouble. Women can’t wear trousers and jeans, let alone short skirts. Hilton is a loose canon, so it should be interesting to see how she deals with all the restrictions.
As for the winner, she had better be an orphan because anyone from a steady home settling for something as embarrassing as this should be disowned. Imagine your only claim to fame is being Paris Hilton’s best friend. And just recently, on her last visit to South Africa, Hilton’s real BFF was bust with marijuana in yet another stain on the Hilton name.
Hilton’s friends include the likes of Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan. Perhaps the girls in Dubai will want to follow in Kim’s footsteps because after consorting with Hilton, and the “accidental” release of a sex tape, Kim became a star in her own right. Sies.
